This can be as simple as making sure everything is stored in plastic or glass airtight containers. Roaches love cardboard boxes.
Check around Your Yard
Make sure that your leaf piles are removed from your yard. Leaf Piles are a good food and shelter source. If you have wood piles you will want to remove them away from your home. Woodpiles can be home to many pest as well.
